Iberdrola Renewables Japan K.K. is Iberdrola’s renewable energy development platform in Japan. Through the acquisition of Acacia in 2020, Iberdrola strengthened its development base for renewable energy businesses in Asia. Iberdrola Japan will build on Iberdrola’s track record in green energy to move towards a more sustainable and cleaner future in Japan.

Iberdrola Japan has plans to install up to 1.8GW of offshore wind energy generation, contributing to the Iberdrola Group's expansion into the APAC region. The 1.8GW of renewable energy generation installed in Japan will be part of a wider plan for up to 6.5GW across Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
